Our trip to the Land of Ports

Well, last Sunday the little boys and I, along with Brenda and Jordan, packed up the beast and headed to Portland to visit Grammy and Poppy(Great Grandma and Grandpa Emerson.) We were only there until Wednesday, but we sure did get a lot of sight seeing in. We went to Cannon Beach and ate at Moe's, walked around on the beach, and of course did some shopping. We went to the Corporate Office of Lumber Products and met one of the BIG BOSSES(Which use to be Grandpa and maybe one day Josh)!! Then to Sleighbells, the cutest Christmas Shoppe, then to the Mall and then The Old Spaghetti Factory. Which we got to sit in the Trolley. On Wednesday before heading home we stopped by Uncle Randy's and Aunt Patti's for a quick visit. But of course we had to make a stop at Multanomah Falls!! It was a fun trip and I am so thankful we were able to go. Hopefully next time the rest of the Family can join us. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for having us. We love you!!

Our Halloween was a busy day. We started the day by doing some grocery shopping, and I think we stood in line longer than it actually took to get our groceries. But we did make home in time to watch BSU continue on in their winning streak. GO BRONCOS!! Then it was time for Church. Dusty spoke on the wrath of God. WOW was it an amazing lesson. God is so patient, but when he has been patient for too long, he will destroy. After church we went and did some trick-or-treating with the boys and they sure did get some candy. It was fun. We left the boys with Papa and Gama so I could go to a Halloween party and Josh could go play Settlers of Catan with the guys.
